The NSRCA is a corporation and is organized as a special interest group of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
The executive officers are elected by the membership in the fall of even numbered years and serve for a period of two years. Maximum term for an executive officer is two consecutive terms in the same position (4 years). Executive officers are the president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.
District vice-presidents are elected by the membership in the fall of odd numbered years and also serve for a period of two years. Maximum term for a district vice-president is two consecutive terms (4 years) for the same district.
The board is made up of the executive officers and the district vice-presidents.
